The Hotel Tizi-Mizi, named after a small village near Ansongo to Gao's south, actually includes three separate facitilities, the main hotel, an annex, and the new Tizi-Mizi apartments.  The apartments all include televisions, air conditioning, and mini-refrigerators.  The main Tizi-Mizi hotel also has air-conditioned conference facilities, a bar, and a restaurant.  All three Tizi-Mizi facilities are located near each other in the Château quartier of Gao.
